Your presentation should follow the line of thought as your written report, only abbreviated.

 

Title Slide

 

Background Information (1-3 slides)

Problem/Question (1 slide)

Hypothesis    (1 slide)

Objective Slide/s- Why you feel this study is important (1-2 slides)

Methods & Materials- (1 or more slides) ( should include independent variable, dependent variable and control) as well as experimental design

Data slides- (1 or more slides) Presenter should clearly explain each data set

Final analysis slide- The analysis of data

Conclusion-  Hypothesis supported or problem answered?  (1 slide)

Main points of discussion (1 or more slides)

Errors (1 slide)

Future study questions (1 slide)

 

v      No note cards, practice your presentation

v      Do not use an excess of effects that will detract from your message- enough to be interesting, but not detracting

v      If you are working with someone else, have the presentation planned where it flows smoothly

v      Pictures and illustrations should be used when it will aid the audience in understanding your project.
